Outdoor Large Ant Barrier
If you live in an area with large outdoor ants, we have
an easy solution. We use the same Tython feather
barrier, but we just make a larger "disc" type barrier
- shown above. It is really quite amusing, actually.
The disc design forces ants to walk upside down for
about two inches and they just fall of their own
weight. Their little hands have trouble gripping the
delicate feather down filaments and down they go.
Will a few ever get to the top? Maybe, but if they do,
you might want to consider feeding them, because
they deserve some food after all that effort. They will
try to scale up the feather barrier all night!
